Italy COVID-19 Legislative measures - The English version of the new list of economic sectors exempted from the lockdown

The Minister of Economic Development, Patuanelli signed a new Decree updating the list of economic sectors exempted from the lockdown identified by the Prime Minister’s Decree of 22 March.

The changes were made following a meeting between the Minister of Economic Development Patuanelli, the Minister of Economy and Finance Gualtieri, and trade union representatives, who since the beginning of the outbreak have been firm in their position to close all non-essential factories in the broadest sense of the term to protect the health of workers.

The Decree entered into force on March 25, but the companies whose activities are suspended have until 28 March to complete essential pending tasks.
